Satellite Meeting on Cancer Research in Chile: “A MULTIDISCIPLINARY APPROACH TO CANCER”

WELCOME

This Satellite meeting will be held on December 1, 2015 and wants to give a multidisciplinary approach to cancer research, showing how necessary is the interaction of all disciplines to achieve useful results focused to translate the knowledge from the laboratory bench to bedside. The core of participants belongs to the Advanced Center for Chronic diseases ACCDIS (Fondap) which includes collaborative work with Universidad de La Frontera. The focus  of this meeting will transit from Basic  intracellular mechanism  involved in cancer cell  trough therapeutic opportunities in frequent cancer  in Chile (Gastric, Gallbladder and Ovary) also strategies to search and validate  epigenetic and proteomic biomarkers  of diagnostic , Prognostic,  Predictive  and  for therapy  selection will be addressed.

We want to acknowledge all participants that will contribute to this event, in particular to our invited speakers. We also want to thank to the Universidad de La Frontera and all collaborators involved in the organization of the Cancer Research Satellite Meeting.
